This March, why not make or update your Will as part of FORCE Cancer Charity’s Make Your Will Week, taking place 2nd - 6th March 2026.

Leading local solicitors Tozers, with branches in Exeter, Teignmouth and Newton Abbot, are supporting the week by offering their Will‑writing services free of charge in exchange for a donation to FORCE.

Rachael Morley from Tozers Solicitors said: “We’re proud to support FORCE’s Make Your Will Week. Making or updating your Will is one of the most important things you can do for your loved ones, and it’s also an opportunity to think about the causes that matter to you. Even a small gift in your Will to FORCE can make a lasting difference to people affected by cancer in our community.”

Suggested donations are £275 for a single Will and £350 for a Mirror Will.

FORCE’s Make Your Will Week highlights the importance of having an up‑to‑date Will and raises awareness of the vital role that gifts in Wills play in supporting FORCE. A valid Will ensures your wishes are followed, protects loved ones, helps minimise Inheritance Tax, ensures your children are cared for by a trusted guardian, and gives you peace of mind.

It is recommended that you review and update your Will every five years, as circumstances and priorities can change.

Gifts in Wills play a crucial role in sustaining FORCE’s services. In the coming year alone, gifts in Wills are expected to fund a significant proportion of the charity’s work, contributing £300,000 towards the £1.9 million needed to deliver FORCE’s free cancer support to local people. These gifts ensure that FORCE can continue to be there for people facing cancer, not just today, but for generations to come.

Kate Few-Singh, CEO of FORCE Cancer Charity, said:  “Leaving FORCE a gifts in your Will is are one of the most significant ways you can support people in our local area affected by cancer.  It is a precious gift to those experiencing the stress of cancer and ensures FORCE can continue to offer everyone free and accessible support, both now and in the future. We would like to say thank you so much to everyone who has included FORCE in their Will. Your thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity will ensure FORCE is here to support local people in the years to come.”
