SW’s largest classic American car show returns to Cofton

The South West’s largest gathering of hot-rods, muscle cars and American classics – including Cadillacs, Chevrolets, Jeeps and trucks – returns to Cofton Holidays near Starcross just outside Exeter from 30 June to 02 July for a weekend of music and entertainment, food, fun and competition.

Dean Moxey has rejoined Exeter City following an eight-year absence from St James Park.

Dean, born in Exeter, broke into the Grecians first team in October 2003 and played around 200 games for the club as City gained promotion from the Football Conference to League One.

However, in the summer of 2009 he left to join Championship side Derby County, before gaining promotion to the Premier League with Crystal Palace in 2013. He left the Eagles in 2014 for a three-year spell at Bolton Wanderers.

Exeter City Futsal team reach national finals

A group of Exeter students aged 17-19 from the Exeter City Football In The Community BTEC Sport programme travelled a total of 286 miles to participate in the ever growing, EFL Futsal National finals.

Expectations were high as Exeter teams had previously performed well with the Express & Echo awarding their prestigious “Team of the Year “accolade for winning the competition last year.
