Four more Chiefs players agree new deals

Club captain Jack Yeandle heads up a list of four Exeter Chiefs players who have today penned new deals with the Aviva Premiership champions.

The 28-year-old hooker, together with fellow front-row forwards Greg Holmes, Elvis Taione and Harry Williams, have become the latest squad members to commit their futures to the Chiefs.

Yeandle has signed a new three-year deal keeping him at Sandy Park until 2021, while international trio Holmes, Taione and Williams have all agreed two-year deals.

New Year’s fitness frenzy as pair sign up for cycle challenge

Drs Mark Tarrant and David Llewellyn got straight into the saddle following the Christmas festivities as they prepare to cycle London to Paris for the charity Alzheimer’s Society.

Exeter’s hopes of dining out with Europe’s elite in the latter stages of this season’s Champions Cup were sadly burnt to pieces in a crucial ten minute spell here at Scotstoun.

With little to choose between the Chiefs and hosts Glasgow Warriors at the break, it was the Scotsmen who prospered in the second period, claiming a first European win of the season, and with it extinguishing Exeter’s hopes of a last eight place.

A controversial yellow card against Chiefs scrum-half Nic White not only saw him banished from the action midway through the half, but the penalty try and...

Grecians seal important victory at Meadow Lane

Exeter City got back to winning ways away from home with a 2-1 win over Notts County at Meadow Lane in Sky Bet League Two.

An early strike from Jake Taylor and a smart finish from Jayden Stockley gave the Grecians a two-goal cushion at half-time, before Jon Stead pulled a goal back for the hosts with a second-half penalty.

Despite late pressure from the home side, City hung on and claimed an excellent three points on the road.

Paul Tisdale made just one change to the side that beat Coventry City last time out as...

Despite the overall economic gloom surrounding Brexit, it seems that people in the south-west can look forward to a housing market that is enjoying relative stability.

Recently published reports suggest that there were price gains of 4.9% in the south-west of the UK during 2017. Whilst house prices in London crawled to a modest rise of just 1%, it seems that cities like Exeter are behind the newfound optimism in the south-west’s housing market.

Across 2017 we saw Exeter’s property types of all kinds enjoying a boost in sales prices. Compared to prices in 1995, we have seen...

Gambling laws around the world

Gambling laws may be weird and complicated. While most jurisdictions in the world regulate this activity in one way or another, some countries banned gambling altogether. These guys just don’t know what they’re missing out on.

Other countries just don’t give a damn (in a good way), and gambling is legal both online and offline. They still require some sort of license to be obtained, but that’s totally understandable.

Finally, there are the strange countries out there who have seemingly made up laws that make no sense whatsoever.

Holy Moly have made an infographic...
