Exeter Airport has unveiled one of its busiest ever schedules with publication of the latest edition of Exeter Connects Magazine.

With more than 40 destinations on offer this year, the magazine includes full listings of all the airport’s scheduled services, charters and seasonal specials available in 2018.

Spring launch for East Devon’s new green waste fortnightly collection service

East Devon is moving forward with plans to introduce a district-wide chargeable green waste collection service this year.

The council is working with partners SUEZ UK to provide a fortnightly chargeable green waste collection service for its residents who have been asking for a reliable district-wide service of this kind for some time.

The council has now approved the proposals and the service is expected to be introduced in Spring 2018.

Exeter Chiefs open new X-ray room with a jungle-style makeover

Stars from the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club officially opened a newly refurbished paediatric X-ray room at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital recently.

The room has been given a jungle-style makeover so it is more friendly and welcoming for children thanks to a fundraising campaign led by Radiology staff and the support of digital imaging company Agfa HealthCare.

It is the second room to receive a makeover as a result of the RD&E’s Big Raise for Little Rays campaign.
