After a combined total of 70 years in running, coaching and supporting women runners, Devon’s Pauline Beare and Peg Wiseman have finally decided that the Women Can Challenges 2019 will mark the end of an era for them.

Exeter Beats announces a star DJ line-up of Nick Grimshaw, Scott Mills and DJ Kristian Nairn to take over Exeter Castle’s courtyard during the three-night festival. Exeter Beats is part of the award-winning Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink which is back for its 16th consecutive year on the May Day Bank Holiday.

Wales & West Utilities is to start work next month to upgrade the local gas network.
The company will be investing £39,000 to upgrade old metal pipes to new plastic ones in the Exwick Road area of the city. Starting on 8 April, the work is essentialto keep the gas flowing to heat homes and power businesses so that people are kept safe and warm for generations to come.
