The head of a leading builders’ merchants, which has branches across the South West, has been appointed to a key trade association role.

David Young, CEO of Bradfords Building Supplies, is the new Chairman of the Builders Merchants Federation’s South West region.

Founded in 1770, Bradfords Building Supplies is believed to be the oldest builders’ merchant in Britain.

Exeter Airport joins Government backed campaign to warn passengers of consequences of disruptive behaviour

With air traffic movements (ATMs) set to peak for the year the One Too Many campaign is reminding passengers to ensure make sure they travel responsibly and avoid serious consequences and penalties for disruptive behaviour.

Over 8,800 flights are expected to travel through UK airspace today as the summer holidays officially kick off for many across the country. The One Too Many campaign recently relaunched for Summer 2019 with the support of Aviation Minister Baroness Vere, building on the back of a successful inaugural year.

Top 40 law firm Trowers & Hamlins has promoted three senior lawyers from its Exeter Office to partnership, with effect from 1 July 2019.

The gigantosaurus is a book by Jonny Duddle, essentially it's a modern version of the 'boy that cried wolf' and worth adding to any parents collection. The story for anyone still in the dark, is one of a small dinosaur called Bonehead, who volunteers to be the lookout for his friends while they play. Exeter care home resident celebrates her 100th birthday

A resident at RMBI Care Co. Home Cadogan Court in Exeter has celebrated her 100th birthday.

Joan Dyer enjoyed a party at the Home with her family, residents and staff. She was very surprised and delighted to receive an official birthday card from Her Majesty the Queen.

Led Zeppelin star Robert Plant has finally received £8 he was due for playing a gig more than 40 years ago – during a university graduation ceremony.

Appeal to trace woman charged with possessing knife at Exeter rail station

Can you help British Transport Police officers trace wanted woman Nicole McGregor? The 29-year-old of The Lindfield, Coventry, failed to appear at Exeter Magistrates’ Court on 2 July after being charged with possession of an offensive weapon and fare evasion. On Sunday 2nd June three intrepid Freemasons from Devon set out to conquer the beaches which formed the landing places of the 2nd world war Normandy Landings on the 6th June 1944.
