On Friday 2 August, local residents were treated to a cheese and wine afternoon, followed by a village tour and an opportunity to view the beautiful new apartments at Sanderling House. Exeter-based Pebblebed Vineyards provided a selection of English wines made from grapes grown in East Devon, which were complemented by a selection of cheeses from Quicke's Farm Shop.

James Cobb, Group Sales and Marketing Director at Inspired Villages, comments: "It is great to see the launch of the final phase of homes at Millbrook Village , which has been very well received since it launched in 2013 and is now a very well established community, becoming a cornerstone of the Topsham area. As the only retirement village in Exeter, we expect demand to be strong for the last remaining new homes here as they represent the last chance to buy at this vibrant community.
"Research shows we live better for longer in communities that facilitate and encourage active living. Our retirement villages are designed for exactly this, with cottages and apartments arranged around a central clubhouse which provides a range of health and fitness facilities and lots of activities for a sociable and fulfilling retirement."
