Year 8 students from West Exe School marked the start of the National Year of Reading 2026 with an inspiring live session from children’s author Tom Palmer.

Exeter College is in the top 10% nationally - for the second consecutive year - for the outstanding progress of its A Level learners.

Singing triumphs for QE student!

Congratulations to Year 10 QE student, Ava Fitzhugh, who recently brought home two big musical wins!

Ava competed in the District Final of the Rotary Young Musician of the Year 2019, between winners in Devon and Cornwall this weekend at Fowey (she already won the East Devon final) and managed to win her stage.

Ava sang Handel and Mozart and goes on to compete at the Regional Finals on 31St March.

There has been some press coverage this week regarding the UK Youth Strike 4 Climate. NAHT does not condone children and young people missing school as a consequence of supporting action. Pupils should only be out of school in exceptional circumstances.
