South West Law firm, WBW Solicitors, have joined forces with the nation’s heart charity to beat heartbreak forever. The 12 month partnership will see staff at WBW Solicitors raising enough money to fund a moth’s research to grow new blood vessels – a vital part of any future therapy to repair damaged hearts, helping find new ways to operate, diagnose and treat heart disease, which costs the charity £5,000. CEDA enabler Andrew White excelled in the military but shortly after achieving his goal of being accepted into the elite unit Coldstream Guards he suffered an injury that ended his Army career.

At the 2017 Invictus Games he cycled his way to gold in the men’s road cycling IRB 3 criterium. He crossed the line in a time of 28 minutes 21 seconds to take first place. Andrew has been selected to represent TeamGB again in the 2018 Invictus Games taking place in Sydney Australia.

As part of the national 100th anniversary commemorating the end of WW1, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity are staging a special concert at Exeter Cathedral on Saturday 16th June, 2018.

RGB Building Supplies is delighted to announce it raised a fantastic £10,634 for its chosen charity Children’s Hospice South West over the past 12 months.

Due to the overwhelming support RGB received for its fundraising efforts, which included charity breakfast mornings, golf days, Easter competitions, and branch events, as well as staff members taking on various individual challenges, it will be continuing its support of CHSW and will again be undertaking numerous activities throughout 2018.
