Businesses increasing usage of temps says local recruitment expert

Employers in the South West are set to increase their numbers of temporary staff over the next six months of 2013, as many businesses turn to the expertise and knowledge of recruitment professionals to help them trade their way to recovery, according to one local figure.

Peter Brown, business manager at Frontline Recruitment in Weymouth, says that businesses in the region are looking to “try before they buy” as the economy recovers.

Cheshire-based Young Ones is through to the voting stages of Pitch it to Michon, a national competition where start-up businesses can pitch to win marketing support and design worth up to £15,000.

To celebrate 30 years in business, Nottingham-based creative agency, Michon, opened up a nationwide competition to find the best new business ideas and talent. New contract to provide ShoreTel telephone system to Plymouth academy

South West Communications Group has been awarded the contract to provide a new ShoreTel telephone solution to All Saints Academy in Plymouth, Devon.

Autism as an asset in the workplace - a talk by Robyn Steward

Author, consultant and trainer Robyn Steward, one of the UK’s leading experts on autism, will be speaking at a free breakfast seminar hosted by award-winning Exeter business Brain-In-Hand.
