373 Group Awards launch soars under Griffin’s wings

South West business networking group 373 Group launched its 2017 Business Awards at an event at Colliton Barton Training Centre in Broadhembury.

Co-founder of the 373 Group, Tom Hope said, “Nominations are now open for 10 categories.

“We are particularly interested in receiving nominations from those unsung heroes who rarely go up for awards but do a great job of meeting a distinct need, resulting in happy customers."

The annual awards this year are sponsored by Honiton-based accountancy firm, Griffin Chartered Accountants, founded by Graham Higgins and Misty Nickells. Misty explained:

“We are only too pleased to recognise the massive contribution that local businesses make to the region. “We would love to see as many South West businesses as possible get involved.”

The winners will be announced at the 373 Group Awards 2017 at Deer Park Hotel near Honiton on July 13.

373 Group co-founder Chris Lorimer said: “This year the awards event will be even more impressive, set in the wonderful Orangery with copious refreshments and relaxed networking.

“The event is designed to be informal and fun allowing both nominees and winners to reflect on a job well done.”

The 2017 award categories are: • Best Start-up • Greatest Social Impact • Best Marketing • Best Rural Business • Best Customer Service • Best Professional Service • Best Retail • Best Venue • Top Business Person • Best Company

The nomination process is via the group’s website with a simple form to fill out. “It’s super quick, just five minutes and will give your business lots of coverage through our many followers on social media,” added Chris.
