Exeter City will proudly wear the current home and away shirts for the 2017/18 season, with a new third kit to be added.

This season’s third kit will be heavily influenced by City’s partnership with main club sponsor Flybe, which is one of the longest running sponsorships in football.

The new kit will replace the Fluminese-inspired third kit which had been used for the last two seasons, most recently in City’s 4-1 win away at Newport County on New Year’s Eve.

The traditional red and white striped home shirt, with black and white collar and trim will remain City’s home shirt. The fluorescent yellow kit will remain the Grecians away strip, after proving popular with the City first-team during the 2016/17 season, which saw the Grecians break the record for most away wins in a season.

Exeter City chairman Julian Tagg said: “Flybe have supported Exeter City through thick and thin for 14 years; their sponsorship has been vital in enabling our community owned club to become stable and to grow.

“We are delighted to be able to mark this dedication by creating a kit that proudly displays the partnership.”

Vincent Hodder, Flybe chief revenue officer said: “We are very proud of our long standing relationship with Exeter City and are thrilled that it will be recognised in the new third kit.

“We are looking forward to the launch and can’t wait for the fans to see it when it is finally revealed.”

The new third kit will be launched over the next few weeks so watch this space.
