RGB Building Supplies’ Well Built Community Fund has been giving away £1,000 worth of building materials every other month to various different groups since its launch in May 2014.

Now the builders merchant is asking Exeter based charities and projects that support the homeless to nominate themselves to receive the grant.

With a 165-year history, RGB’s Community Fund is a way of giving something back to the community that has been such a support to them.

So, if a group needs materials to update a shelter, make repairs to a building, or perhaps help to create a new space, RGB would like to hear about it.

Keith Harris, Product and Marketing Manager at RGB Building Supplies, commented: “Since its launch, our Well Built Community Fund has helped a number of different groups, including a school, a charity that supports young people, a care home and a gymnastics club.

"This time we are asking charities and organisations that help the homeless to make contact with us and explain what materials they need to complete a project.

"We look forward to receiving the nominations.”

Groups can nominate themselves by contacting RGB Building Supplies and explaining what project they need building materials for and how the support will be of benefit to them.  One group will be chosen from all the nominations to receive £1,000 worth of materials.

Nominations can be made by emailing RGB@pmwcom.co.uk or by sending a letter to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU.  The closing date for nominations is Monday 7th September.

RGB’s Well Built Community Fund will also be helping charities that support those with a disability, health and fitness organisations and projects that are making changes to outdoor spaces.
