Expansion for Devon holiday destination

Exclusive Devon holiday destination, South View Lodges, has begun work on the development of two new lavish holiday lodges at its picturesque location in Shillingford St George, Exeter.

Supported by funding from Royal Bank of Scotland, the new lodges will be decorated and furnished to a 5-star standard, providing luxurious self-catering accommodation for visitors to the area.

Set in six acres of landscaped woodland and nestled next to three beautiful fishing lakes, the new lodges will be amidst some of the most stunning surroundings in Devon. Each property will be ultra-stylish and have a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining area, two en-suite bedrooms and a large external decking area furnished with a table, chairs and private hot tub.  State of the art appliances, flat screen TV’s and super-fast Wi-Fi will also be fitted throughout.

Launched in 2010, by husband and wife team Andrew and Jill Taylor, South View Lodges has developed a great reputation as a provider of luxury 5-star self-catering accommodation in Devon, winning Gold in 2016’s Devon Tourism Awards for best Self Catering Provider.  There are three existing lodges at the site for which the firm achieved occupancy rates of 85% last year.
