A fundraising evening organised by Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes has raised more than £10,000 for The Exeter Foundation charity, with money raised going towards helping a range of charities and groups across the region.

Staff from the five star housebuilder together with suppliers and sub-contractors enjoyed a James Bond themed evening at Sandy Park, the home of the Exeter Chiefs which included a raffle, auction and fundraising casino.

Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes commercial director Steve Fowler said the fundraiser was part of the housebuilders’ long-term support of the foundation which provides the city with a Civic Trust and helps a wide range of charities and services to support local people.

“We are delighted that The Exeter Foundation is our chosen charity for the third year running and our staff have been great at coming up with great ways to raise money,” said Steve.

“Throughout the year we have held a number of events and staff have been great at organizing their own fundraising initiatives so thanks to them and our suppliers and partners.”

Tony Rowe, chairman of the Exeter Foundation said: “I’d like to thank Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes for continuing to support our charity and pledging to raise funds, 100 per cent of which, will go to worthy causes.”
