Record year for tourism in South Devon and bumper start to 2019

Latest figures from Visit South Devon reveal that 2018 was an exceptional year for tourism with visitors to www.visitsouthdevon.co.uk up more than 5% on 2017.

The first two months of 2019 have seen the upward trend continue with site visits up almost 6% on the same period last year, including a dramatic 20% leap in overseas traffic.

A Devon born and bred aspiring painter and decorator with huge ambitions has been named as Redrow’s National Apprentice of the Year.

Courtney Baker-Edwards from the West Country division was presented with the award at Redrow’s annual Apprenticeship Awards which took place at the end of last year.
