Chartered accountants and business advisers, PKF Francis Clark, have announced that they are welcoming three new additions to the tax team in their Plymouth office.

Emily White and Mark Trevethan have recently joined and will be shortly followed by Kate Cully.

The firm, that is currently celebrating its centenary year and has recently been announced as finalists in the Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm, Best Corporate Tax Practice and Best Private Client Tax Practice categories in the Tolley’s Taxation Awards 2019, has already seen substantial growth in their tax teams across all offices in the region this year.

Emily and Mark are both working within the firm’s tax team, which provides professional firms, individuals, families and privately-owned businesses in Plymouth with unrivalled specialist tax knowledge and support. Emily has seven years’ experience in the tax department of another regional firm, specialising in private client tax matters, whilst Mark brings a knowledge of trusts and property and a background in private client tax planning.

The team will later be joined by Kate Cully, who will be the newest recruit to the firm’s team in early June. Kate previously worked for one of the top four national accountancy firms and has vast experience of share schemes, company reconstructions and corporate finance transactions.

Gordon Fox, Tax Partner at PKF Francis Clark said: “We are delighted to welcome Emily and Mark to the firm and look forward to Kate joining us next month. The combined range of knowledge and experience that the three of them will bring to the office will be incredibly valuable and will help us keep up with the growing demand for our tax services. It is a very exciting time for the tax team as not only have we gained new team members, but we are also celebrating the firm’s 100 years and have recently been announced as finalists in the Tolley’s Awards”.
