South West-based logistics provider wins national award from Palletways UK
Dash Logistix, the logistics arm of South West-based logistics, vehicle and retail services provider, The Dash Group, has received a national award recognising its performance from Palletways UK, Europe’s largest express palletised freight network.
The Exeter, Redruth and Plymouth-based company has won the prestigious Newcomer of the Year Award, in recognition of outstanding performance, dedication and impact as a new member of the Palletways network.
The victory was announced during the annual Palletways UK conference and awards evening held at Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire. The awards were presented by Palletways UK Managing Director Rob Gittins.
Speaking on the awards, Rob Gittins said:“The annual member awards provide an opportunity for all of our members to come together and celebrate their achievements. Dash Logistix has made a real impression having only joined the network in February this year, setting a high standard from day one in terms of input and service.
“Congratulations on a well-deserved win – we look forward to seeing how Dash Logistix continues to grow and flourish within the network.”
Dash Logistix recently recruited 16 new staff, including new Group Commercial Manager, Brian Fisher, to support its new pallet business. In addition to high input and service standards, The Dash Group is a family-grown business built on strong values, local knowledge and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Paul Dash, Operations Director at The Dash Group, said: “We’re over the moon to have received this award, especially being so new to the Palletways network and having only just launched our new pallet business.
“We’re excited to continue our success, delivering top levels of service across the South West and beyond.”
