Carparison appoints David Bates as Head of Procurement
The newly created senior role reflects Carparison's growing commercial reach across the UK's leasing, manufacturer, and funder landscape
Carparison, one of the UK's leading car leasing brokers, has appointed David Bates as Head of Procurement — a new position that formalises the business's strategic approach to OEM relationships, funder partnerships, and dealer engagement.
Bates joins with significant experience across the automotive and leasing sector, including a senior tenure at Leasys, where he built a reputation across the industry for commercial judgement and relationship building.
He joins following a competitive process that attracted high-calibre candidates from across the UK.

“David stood out because of the relationships he brings, the way he operates, and the fact he's ready to make an immediate impact — not just internally, but in every room he walks into.

Bates will lead procurement strategy, manage and develop key funder, manufacturer and dealer relationships, and represent Carparison at industry events alongside the senior leadership team.
The appointment ensures the business has dedicated, senior-level commercial presence both internally and externally.
