Exeter College has announced plans to invest £70 million over the next 20 years in creating an ‘Exceptional’ college.

Under the plans, the college has set out a clear vision for its continued upward trajectory from an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ college to be an ‘Exceptional college’. Filming in Exeter has brought in an estimated £140,000 worth of benefits to the city over the last year, new figures have revealed. TV documentaries, dramas, promotional films and adverts have all been shot in Exeter over the last 12 months. A leading South West expert in data protection is highlighting the pitfalls of data protection, following 11 charities being fined by the UK’s data watchdog. The Information Commissioner’s Office has issued fines to high profile charities including Cancer Research UK, The Royal British Legion and Oxfam. The iconic Seaton Jurassic heritage centre has been shortlisted for a record six prestigious building and planning awards for its astonishing and forward-thinking design.
