Exeter-based employment lawyer joins Westbank Community Health and Care’s Board of Trustees

The Devon-wide health and wellbeing charity, Westbank Community Health and Care, is delighted to welcome lawyer Henry Cross as its newest Trustee. Henry is a Senior Associate at Michelmores, specialising in employment law.

A father-of-two from Exeter, Henry already had a broad awareness of the charity when he met Westbank’s Head of Carers Services, Andy Hood, at a networking event a few years ago. A Devon born and bred aspiring painter and decorator with huge ambitions has been named as Redrow’s National Apprentice of the Year.

Courtney Baker-Edwards from the West Country division was presented with the award at Redrow’s annual Apprenticeship Awards which took place at the end of last year.

Redrow prides itself on valuing and developing its employees. The housebuilder has been listed as a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer for five consecutive years and was awarded Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Apprentice Employee of the Year.

A project in Exeter, organised by a 15-year old girl, is looking to raise money to purchase hot water bottles for the homeless in Exeter.
