History of much loved East Devon parks and gardens will be captured for posterity thanks to Heritage Lottery Fund award of £9,500
Interpretation panels for each of East Devon District Council’s eight parks and gardens are currently being developed by the council using information provided by local museums and local community members/groups. Musicians from four Devon schools had the chance of a lifetime to perform alongside some of the country’s leading instrumentalists in an inspirational concert of work by modern composers. The concert was the culmination of a series of workshops for pupils at Blundell’s, Blundell’s Prep, Uffculme and Exeter Cathedral Schools with the London Chamber Orchestra.

As more and more people are diagnosed with Dementia, Exeter City Council has revealed its commitment to the challenges faced by arguably the biggest health crisis facing the UK and how it is helping those with dementia to access its services.
Last year the City Council became a member of the Exeter Dementia Action Alliance. In doing so, it joined over 50 organisations and businesses within Exeter, working to make the city dementia friendly.
Now the Council has mapped out how it is going to help those with the condition.
