Blue Fizz Events is super-excited to announce a fabulous two-day vintage wedding fair at Devon’s Killerton House, a beautiful National Trust property near Exeter, and once again in partnership with Crikey it’s Vintage.
On Saturday and Sunday June 21-22, from 10.30am – 6pm the Blue Fizz traditional canvas style pole tent will house a stunning selection of vintage inspired wedding suppliers for a two day extravaganza. The weekend promises to be vibrant, visual and very vintage – a fabulous day out, and a treat for any bride and groom.
In recognition of its potential to bring more visitors to the town, East Devon District Council has waived the rental for the first 12 months for the use and storage of the land train in The Maer car park, Exmouth.
Visitors using the land train will also benefit from reduced parking with a full day costing just £3, instead of the usual £6.

Skin cancer rates in the South West of England are twice the English average, according to new figures.
There were more than 800 new cases of melanoma diagnosed in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset in 2012, with more than 100 people dying from the disease.
The figures were released as part of a new campaign by Public Health England to raise awareness of skin cancer.

Every district in Devon will have a specialist youth centre hub with professional staff, following a decision by Devon County Council’s Cabinet yesterday (June 11).
The eight hubs will work with the most vulnerable young people, as well as providing three open sessions for all youngsters each week and expertise for community groups which want to set up their own sessions.
