Exeter charity CEDA is celebrating news of a £73,000 government grant with South West creative design agency Toucan.
Toucan, which made CEDA its charity of the year, has teamed up with the staff to provide on-going business support.
Josh Beadon, Toucan’s creative director, said they worked collaboratively to help the dedicated staff spend more of their time working with disabled adults and children and less time caught-up in back-room functions.

Exeter based LHC Architecture + Urbanism is set to take fundraising efforts to new heights this year, in aid of children’s bereavement support charity, Balloons.
Staff from the award winning architecture firm have already begun planning a wide range of fundraising events to help raise money for the charity, which is known for providing support to children throughout Exeter, east and mid Devon.
Formed in 2007, Balloons supports children, young people and their families before an expected death or following the death of someone important in their lives.
Harriet King celebrated her 10th birthday by doing something very special for Exeter cancer charity FORCE.
Instead of getting presents on her big day, she asked friends and family to donate to the charity.
Ahead of her birthday in February Harriet said: “I have pretty much everything I could need and want. So instead of asking for birthday presents, if you would like to make a donation to the FORCE Cancer Charity, I would really appreciate it.”

Otter Nurseries has donated special seeds of remembrance to be given to participants in the 2016 Ladies Twilight Walk in aid of Hospiscare.
1,000 packets of forget-me-not seeds will be handed out at the end of the walk, enough for everyone expected to take part.

Mercedes-Benz of Exeter has generously donated a Mercedes-Benz A class worth over £22,000 as a raffle prize, to be sold in Princesshay. 100% of the proceeds from this prominent car raffle will raise thousands of pounds for Exeter Deaf Academy.
The car raffle starts on Thursday 17th March 2016 and we require enthusiastic volunteers to sell tickets on our car raffle stand in the centre of Princesshay on Fridays and Saturdays from this date.
