Exeter BID launched in 2015 to give local businesses greater control over the city’s agenda for the next 5 years. 640 businesses of all types and sizes belong to the scheme.

Local Kia dealership, Marsh Kia, is proud to announce its support of Torbay and South Devon NHS Trust for the next three years.

The sponsorship supports the trust’s transport division in raising funds for a stair lifter. The stair lifters provide an easy and safe method of moving patients from their accommodation to the ambulances. Marsh Kia will make a donation every quarter to fund the costs of a stair lifter, which equates to around £6,000.

Some of Devon's best-loved characters came together last week (05 July) at Ladram Bay Holiday Park to celebrate the start of the high-summer holiday season. The Devon Maritime Forum’s latest conference will introduce a new approach to managing coasts and seas and how it can be put into use in the South West region.

Overnight closures on Bridge Road this week

Traffic management has been reduced on part of the Bridge Road improvement scheme.

The approach to Matford roundabout, from the Devon Hotel direction, is now operating with two lanes open inbound.

It follows the completion of surfacing and lining work on this section of the scheme during overnight closures this week.

Cones are being left on the verges for the time being, because the dedicated left-turn lane into Bridge Road needs to be closed off during future night-time closures – the next of which will be over three evenings next week.
