Future of Valley parks in Exeter assured as wildlife trust take over their management

Go Further for Less: Stagecoach South West trials extension of the Exeter plus boundary

The Stagecoach South West Exeter plus boundary will be extended to include Newton Poppleford, Sidmouth and Sidford for a four week trial period during the summer.

Updates to the Exeter lus boundary will be trailed from 14th July to 11th August, enabling customers living in rural towns and villages to travel further for less.

Passengers on the following bus routes will benefit:

Number 9 boarding at Sidford to Exeter

Number 157 and 357 boarding at Woodbury to Exeter

Hundreds of churches across Devon have taken part in ‘Thy Kingdom Come’, a national prayer event in recent weeks, which in the city included a large finale event at the Cathedral.

Now, an initiative based out of Rediscover Church in Exeter hopes to build upon that with what could be the county’s biggest ever prayer gathering.

Work begins on Pinhoe Station Road play area

Work has begun on the £110k refurbishment of a play area in Exeter.

Cllr David Harvey, Lead Councillor for Environment and City Development, got construction underway by cutting the first turf at Pinhoe Station Road.

The facility is being rebuilt by Exeter City Council after locals were asked what sort of play equipment they would like to see introduced. Work will be completed over the summer.
