29 July 7.20am: Alma Royle, last seen in Heron Way, St Thomas, is still missing and Police are increasingly concerned for her safety. They have enlisted the help of mountain rescue teams to help find her, but are also asking the public to keep their eyes open.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision between a car and cyclist in Exeter on Sunday 28 July. The collision happened at around 7.40pm on Topsham Road, at the junction with Higher Wear Road. Police believe the silver Ford Fiesta was travelling along Topsham Road from Topsham, heading towards Countess Wear, when the cyclist emerged from the nearside before being struck by the car. The Hollow Lane Club, based at Ellen Tinkham School in Exeter, has been awarded over £100,000 of lottery funding. The Vue cinema has leapt to the rescue of frantic parents who are trying to find ways to amuse their children across the summer holidays. The latest film in the Thomas and Friends adventures is called King of the Railway and is being aired exclusively at Vue cinemas only.
