InExeter are staging the greatest comeback ever with the revival of the historic Exeter Carnival after 24 years. The new Exeter Carnival will take place on Saturday 26th November 2022 with the illuminated parade starting at 6pm. CARL Bennett from Ogwell in Newton Abbot has returned to work at a Devon-based family-run printed-packaging company as its Production Operative after 18 years (August 2022).
The 47-year-old originally joined Newton Print Ltd in 2002 but moved to another role in 2004, and has returned as its new Production Operative, ensuring production is running at optimum efficiency.

Kickstart trainees have received certificates for completing their six-month apprenticeship with Devon County Council.
A group of 12 young people took up trainee roles with the County Council through the government funded Kickstart scheme, which was designed to enable 18-24 year-olds to receive an apprenticeship.
Five of the apprentices trained as park rangers at Stover Country Park and the Grand Western Canal Country Park, while the remainder worked in administrative based roles in a variety of departments at the County Council.
