Stagecoach South West has this year, strengthened its partnerships with Devon County Council and Exeter City Council in relation to the joint efforts to prevent and tackle antisocial behaviour in and around Exeter’s bus station, improving safety and the overall customer experience by providing greater visibility and linking its CCTV system to the city-wide network.

The ‘HAY Summer’s Here’ event on Thursday 26th July will feature spectacular street entertainment, live music, a face painter, creative workshops and food samples from the restaurants. A trio of Teignbridge parks have received the prestigious Green Flag award yet again for their high standard of quality and cleanliness.

Decoy Country Park and Courtenay Park, Newton Abbot, and The Den, Teignmouth, are confirmed as among the best parks and open spaces in Britain.

Former physiotherapist, Fiona Murphy, founded her social enterprise, Double Bounce Inclusive Tennis South West CIC, to combine her love of tennis and helping others.

River users get new defibrillator access

Teign Corinthian Yacht Club (TCYC), Teignbridge District Council and the Teign Estuary and Coastal Partnership have worked together to install a new defibrillator close to the quay side and slipway at Polly Steps, Teignmouth.

The proposal and main fund raising for the equipment came about through the TCYC following the sudden death of one of its members at this site. Supported by family, friends and Teign Heartbeat, TCYC raised the funds for two defibrillator units - the other being based at Coombe Cellars where the club’s dinghy section is based.
