Teddy Swims to headline TK Maxx presents Live at Powderham 2026

GRAMMY nominated vocal powerhouse Teddy Swims today announces a run of outdoor shows and festivals across the UK and Ireland for summer 2026 including a date in the Devon countryside.

The international chart-topper will head to TK Maxx presents Live at Powderham on Thursday June 25 as the latest headline artist announced for the live music event.

Mark Cavendish, cycling's greatest sprinter of all time, has been confirmed as the first rider for this year’s Tour of Britain. The Tour organisers have announced that the British cycling legend, who has won more stages of the modern Tour of Britain than any other rider, with 10 Stage victories, will lead his Belgian Deceuninck - Quick-Step team at the UK’s biggest race.

Devon will host Stage Two of the 2021 Tour of Britain on Monday 6 September, starting in the new town of Sherford and finishing in Exeter.

Exmouth RNLI volunteer crew launched to an incident this afternoon involving a 23ft yacht in Lyme Bay.

At 1.05pm today Monday 16 August 2021, H.M. Coastguard tasked Exmouth RNLI All Weather Lifeboat R & J Welburn to attend a report of a 23 foot yacht in difficulties with engine failure and emanating smoke at a position approximately 10 miles off Exmouth, in Lyme Bay. Garden waste service set to resume

Garden waste collections in Exeter will start up again from Monday 16 August, the City Council has confirmed.

Exmouth RNLI volunteer crew launched this afternoon to rescue two individuals reportedly stranded by the tide off Budleigh Salterton between Otter Point and Brandy Head.
