Leading South West building services engineering company EX2 Group has welcomed three new apprentices this week, as they begin their professional training in Electrical Installation with Exeter College.

Christian, Alfie, and Harvey were welcomed to the Exeter offices by James Rayner (right), Project Manager. Trading Standards has been nationally acclaimed for a ground-breaking project which focuses on farmers' mental health and strengthens links with rural communities.

The Heart of the Southwest Trading Standards Service (HotSW TS) covers Devon, Plymouth, Somerset, and Torbay and was awarded the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) Hero Award for best project in London this week.

Food waste collections about to start as phased roll-out gets underway

The long-awaited roll-out of food waste collections in Exeter is about to begin, the City Council has announced.

The roll-out will begin with 1,300 households in Alphington having the weekly service added to their waste and recycling collections – starting on 4 November - before the initiative is introduced gradually across the whole of the city.
