Leading South West building services engineering company EX2 Group has welcomed three new apprentices this week, as they begin their professional training in Electrical Installation with Exeter College.

Christian, Alfie, and Harvey were welcomed to the Exeter offices by James Rayner (right), Project Manager. The apprentices will combine on-site experience with classroom learning as they work towards their Level 3 Electrical Installation qualifications. The RSPB is reminding the public that most baby birds found on the ground, don’t need rescuing – it’s part of the natural fledging process.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 35-year-old Thomas Worthington, who has been reported missing from the Exeter area.

Thomas was last heard from on Monday 21 March and had been staying in a tent near the River Exe.

He is described as being of medium build, with short brown hair and wearing glasses, and is 5ft 8in tall.

He may be wearing a casual clothing such as tracksuit bottoms, a T-shirt and a fleece top.

He is believed to be in the Exeter area.

City centre parade planned to celebrate Exeter City’s incredible season

An open top bus parade and Civic Reception will be held next week to celebrate Exeter City’s promotion to League One.

The parade will begin in Exeter High Street from 6pm on Monday 9 May.

There could be a double celebration if the Grecians win their last home game on Saturday and are crowned League Two champions.

But whatever the result on Saturday, Exeter have already clinched promotion and will be celebrating in front of thousands of fans in the city centre on Monday.
