As we approach the general election, Dreadnought South West Association is going on the road with a new play - 'The Orchard'.

Part of the Rebellious Sounds project, which is looking at stories around women's activism across the South West, 'The Orchard' imagines a meeting between Millicent Fawcett and Emmeline Pankhurst, the moderate and the radical, and explores what happens when opposing political forces come together.

Do you know your bra size? You might think so, but a recent study of 10,000 women by Triumph found that 76% per cent of women are wearing the wrong bra size.

Men are more decisive than women, according to a new study.

A study of 2,000 people into the nature of decision making and the thought processes behind them found men are twice as likely to make a decision ‘straight away’ than women.

Exeter City celebrate role of women and girls in football

Exeter City FC will be celebrating the role of women and girls in football at its specially designated One Game One Community (OGOC) home game against Burton Albion (Saturday 26 October).

Each season the Supporters’ Trust-backed Exeter City OGOC group organise a match with an equality and diversity theme. Previous events have put the spotlight on issues including racism, homophobia and disability. This year the focus is on promoting female participation in football.
