Motorcyclists urged to take care

Police in Devon are warning motorcyclists and drivers to take extra care following three collisons in the county involving high powered machines in the space of six hours.

A force spokesman ecouraged riders to seek training in an effort to reduce the number of casualties.

Investigations are underway into the recent crashes and all three riders are said to be in a poorly condition.

Devon County Council is calling on small and medium-sized businesses to think about the benefits of offering an apprenticeship.

The Council is organising a special event at Sandy Park in Exeter on Tuesday 12 March to bring young people and potential employers together.

Acting BBC Director-General Tim Davie has announced plans to launch more free training days for women who have specialist or expert knowledge and who want to share it in TV and radio interviews and reports.

Regional sales training company Estadia has launched a new scheme designed to help businesses invest in essential training for their employees.

The new scheme will allow businesses to improve their cash flow while continuing to refresh and improve employees' performance. Based on the number of employees and training days that are anticipated over a 12-month period, businesses will pay a monthly fee month spread over one year that will support a healthier cash flow as well as providing a discount on the total cost of training.
