After What Comes Before, an exciting new performance by Leeds-based Manic Chord Theatre company is coming to Exeter's Bike Shed Theatre on Monday 17 March.

The company was formed by Leeds University graduates Alex Monk, Sam Berrill and David Cartwright in September 2012, and is dedicated to the ideas of collective creation and ensemble theatre.

RHS Garden Rosemoor Spring Flower Show

Daniel O'Donnell cancels Plymouth concert to be with critically ill Father-in-law

This Friday’s Daniel O’Donnell concert at Plymouth Pavilions has been cancelled, along with the remainder of his UK tour.

Unfortunately, Daniel’s Father-in-law is critical in hospital with a suspected brain hemorrhage, and so understandably Daniel has had no choice but to cancel his shows, for which both Daniel and his management offer their sincere apologies.

Composing at speed to a scandalously witty libretto by a Cardinal, Vincenzo Grimaldi, Handel drew on his experience of the Italian style, plundering his catalogue of cantatas written for the intelligentsia of Rome and producing a youthful masterpiece of dazzling invention and virtuosity. RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter Annual Shelter Day & Fun Dog Show

Come along to Little Valley's Annual Shelter Day and Fun Dog Show. Gates open at 11am and the event runs till 4pm. There are refreshments, home made cakes, a bar with Pimms, BBQ, dog agility, stalls including plants, books, jewellery, bric-a-brac, jigsaws as well as fun and games and a grand prize draw. The weather forecast is good too! All money raised from this event goes directly to your local animal shelter, Little Valley. We are easy to find - just past Pocombe Bridge. Shakespeare like you've never seen before!

A group of deaf actors in Exeter will be given the chance to perform Shakespeare in a fresh way, thanks to a donation from the region’s leading housebuilder.

PaddleBoat Theatre Company has formed a relationship with the Royal Academy for Deaf Education in Exeter. PaddleBoat has now received a £1,000 grant from Persimmon Homes South West to help offer new performance opportunities to students at the Deaf Academy.
