Ali Hepher says Exeter Chiefs will go “full bore” at ensuring this latest block of Aviva Premiership fixtures finishes on a high note.
Having notched up successive league wins over Newcastle Falcons, Harlequins and Bath to move to third in the current standings, the Devon club will now be looking to add the scalp of lowly London Welsh to their list of victims at Sandy Park today (3pm).
It’s certainly been an encouraging response from the Chiefs, who either side of Christmas lost four games on the bounce in the top flight.
Exeter Chiefs will be looking to maintain their winning sequence in the Aviva Premiership when they play host to rivals Bath at a sold-out Sandy Park today (Saturday 3:15pm). Successive victories over Newcastle Falcons and Harlequins have ensured Rob Baxter's men remain firmly in the mix at the top end of the table, but with a clutch of clubs equally well placed around them, the need to secure vital league points has never been more apparent. Standing in the way, however, of Devon's finest will be second-placed Bath, who themselves have suffered a blip in form with back-to-back defeats...
The Exeter Chiefs have given their backing to a new local currency due to launch in the city this September. One of the largest independent businesses in Exeter, the Premiership rugby club has committed to become part of Exeter Pound. Not only will an image from Sandy Park feature on a special £E15 note issued to mark the Rugby World Cup arriving in the city, but the Chiefs have also pledged accept the Exeter Pounds and will look to spend them with their suppliers. The currency will be launched in September before the tournament comes to the city in a bid to encourage people to support...
Having seen his side return to winning ways in the Aviva Premiership last weekend, Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter is hoping for more of the same at Harlequins tomorrow (Saturday 3pm).
Last Saturday’s 46-17 home win over Newcastle Falcons was just the pick-me-up the Westcountry outfit needed following a turgid run of league form either side of Christmas.
Four successive losses meant the Chiefs had allowed a number of their top flight rivals around them to close in - and with it create a bit of log-jam with regards to the positioning around the top end of the table....

Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter believes new signing Michele Campagnaro can help add some additional ‘X-Factor’ to his side’s back division next season.
Having already bolstered his options with the recruitment of both Geoff Parling and Ollie Woodburn in recent weeks, Baxter has ventured a little further afield for his third new capture who joins from Rabo ProDirect 12 side Benetton Treviso.
As always, the Chiefs supremo and his coaching team have monitored Campagnaro’s performance for some time and having put together a detailed assessment of the Mirano-born back, they...
Italian international Michele Campagnaro says the challenge of testing himself in English rugby’s Aviva Premiership is one that excites him after he today sealed a move to Exeter Chiefs.
The 21-year-old back will depart Benetton Treviso for Sandy Park at the end of the current campaign having put pen to paper on a two-year deal with Rob Baxter’s side.
Capped 13 times by his country, Campagnaro’s arrival in the Westcountry is yet another big statement of intent from the Chiefs, who have already added both Geoff Parling and Ollie Woodburn to their ranks for the 2015/16 season...
