Embracing Chaos will be the subject of a talk at this Friday's b2b Networking event at Sandy Park, the home of the Exeter Chiefs.

Experienced journalist, editor, media commentator and CEO of the award-winning PR and Marketing agency Astley Media, Marc Astley will discuss the threats and opportunities facing businesses as technolgy improves at an ever faster rate.

Visitors to Rugby World Cup 2015 will be greeted with world class customer service from businesses in Exeter and the Heart of Devon.

Exeter is hosting three rugby matches at Sandy Park in September and October, attracting international and VIP visitors to Exeter and the Heart of Devon.

Customer service training courses entitled Welcome to Exeter are being run from January to May by Purple Cloud Consultancy and Exeter City Council.

The courses will help businesses maximise the opportunities for rugby- related business, understand how to manage super-happy or unhappy...

Devon & Cornwall Police ready for Rugby World Cup in Exeter

It is now officially Rugby World Cup Year in Exeter and across the UK.

Devon and Cornwall Police have been planning for this prestigious event since March 2014. A specialist team of officers has been working with management at Sandy Park rugby stadium and with a multitude of partner agencies including England 2015, the world cup organisers, and local authorities.

Placing Exeter on the world stage means that the team has planned for the security of visiting heads of state and politicians from around the world, and are aware of any potential risks.

Prop Hepburn joins Exeter Chiefs

Exeter Chiefs have bolstered their front-row options with the signing of young prop Alec Hepburn from Australian club Perth Spirit.

The 21-year-old forward, who has previously enjoyed spells with Wasps and London Welsh, has signed a deal that will keep him at Sandy Park until 2017.

Brought into the Chiefs this week by head coach Rob Baxter, Hepburn was a member of the victorious England Under-20s side that won the Junior World Championship in France two years ago, lining up alongside current Exeter young guns Luke Cowan-Dickie, Joel Conlon, Sam Hill, Henry Slade and Jack...

New contracts for key Chiefs players

Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter has spoken of his delight after three more of his first team squad today agreed new contracts with the Aviva Premiership club.

Props Carl Rimmer (pictured) and Ben Moon have put pen to paper on two-year deals, whilst back-row forward Kai Horstmann is extending his Sandy Park stay by another year.

The trio are the latest in a line of current Chiefs who in recent weeks have pledged their immediate futures to the Devon outfit.
