"London Suite" is a comedy written by Neil Simon and will be presented at The Blackmore Theatre by The Exmouth Players from Monday 8th through to Saturday 13th May 2017, plus a Saturday Matinee. The Exmouth Players are holding auditions for their production of “The Titfield Thunderbolt”, a comedy by Philip Goulding, at The Blackmore Theatre, Bicton Street, on Sunday, 26th March 2017 starting at 3.00pm.

The play itself will run from Monday 3rd through to Saturday 8th July, including a Saturday matinee.

These auditions are open to you all. You don’t have to be a member of The Exmouth Players or even have acted before. Simply pop along and enjoy the occasion.

Red Dragonfly Productions, the team behind the critically acclaimed 'DiaoChan' and 'The Autumn of Han' are proud to present an evening of new writing from first time playwrights at Crediton Arts Centre on 10 February. Following last year's sell out production of ‘Exceptional Mysteries’, Iron Moon Arts return to the stage with ‘The Spirit Whistle', a chilling ghost show for Christmas at Tiverton’s Oak Room from Wednesday 7th to Saturday 17th December 2016 at 8pm.

Honiton play areas ready for action

Work has finished on £46,850 of eagerly awaited improvements to East Devon District Council’s Bowling Green/Millers Way and Langford Avenue play areas in Honiton and the two play areas are now open and ready for action.

Earlier this year local children at Honiton Primary School and Honiton Littletown Primary School chose the designs for the improvements to the council’s play areas in Honiton, which have now been implemented to a high standard.

East Devon District Council and Honiton Town Council have been working closely together to spend a total of £46,850 on improvements...

The Bear Trail set to get kids back in the great outdoors

Devon's latest outdoor adventure centre, The Bear Trail, is celebrating its official Opening Day on Saturday 23rd July. The Bear Trail is an innovative and challenging outdoor adventure trail set over a 10 acre site in Wescott, near Cullompton, which features over 16 separate obstacles where children (and adults!) can run, jump and climb their way across zig-zag bridges, high nets and bear-infested mud pits.
