John Grant (born 1968) is an American singer-songwriter. Formerly associated with the Denver-based alternative rock band The Czars in the 1990s and early 2000s, he launched a career as a solo artist in 2010.

It’s been an extraordinary journey for John Grant, from a point where he thought he would never make music again or escape a life of substance abuse to winning awards and accolades, collaborating with Sinead O’Connor, Rumer and Hercules and Love Affair and having his music featured in the award-winning film Weekend.

Exeter City FC offers Social Action training with a difference to city’s young people

Local voluntary support agency Exeter CVS are teaming up with Exeter City FC and the British Council to offer free Active Citizens training to the city’s young people, with an unusual twist.

The 5-day course in November will show learners aged 18-25 how they can engage in social action: making a difference through volunteering, campaigning, or engaging with authorities to improve services and make change. Get Active for Oxfam - Join our Zumbathon!

St Thomas Community Festival - A fun day out for all the family!

The local community in St Thomas, Exeter, has come together and organised a local community festival which is being held in the St Thomas Pleasure Grounds.

There will be lots to see and enjoy, with great local bands and musicians playing including Moscow Magazine, Tatty Hat, Cut Purse Rascals, Charlotte Ward and Hysteria Kids Rock Band. Order of events on the Music Stage will be hosted by talented local singer songwriter Karl Zumar.
