Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 35-year-old Thomas Worthington, who has been reported missing from the Exeter area.

Thomas was last heard from on Monday 21 March and had been staying in a tent near the River Exe.

He is described as being of medium build, with short brown hair and wearing glasses, and is 5ft 8in tall.

He may be wearing a casual clothing such as tracksuit bottoms, a T-shirt and a fleece top.

He is believed to be in the Exeter area.

RSPCA reunites owner with cat - lost for SIX YEARS

RSPCA Millbrook Animal Centre in Chobham received a call from a member of the public who had seen the cat straying in Shere, Guildford, on Tuesday (January 21).

Fortunately she was able to catch the cat, who appeared friendly, and brought her into the centre that same day.

After scanning the black female cat for a microchip staff there found an email address for an owner and realised she must be a missing pet.

Ysella Sims, who now lives 162 miles away in Exeter, was shocked when by chance she was checking an old email address just days later and saw the message....

An appeal has been issued after an Exeter man went missing in Thailand.

Martin Wood (48) was last seen leaving Dream Boutique Hotel, Petchaburi, 76120 Cha Am, Thailand, by hotel staff, at around 5am on 30th December 2017. He has not been heard from since.

Maritn, who is originally from Crediton, but now lives in Exeter, is 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with thinning mousey brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Devon and Cornwall Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 33 year old male from Brixham.

Lee Cooper was last seen in Brixham at 6pm on 29th December 2017 by his brother.

He is described as being 5 foot 11 inches tall, of chubby build, with short black hair, clean shaven face and scar in one eyebrow, wearing a black beanie hat with peak, dark green camouflage jacket with hood, dark blue jeans and black trainers with blue laces.

New initiative will help keep people with dementia safe

Carers and families of people living across Devon and Cornwall with dementia are being urged to participate in a new initiative which is being launched by Devon and Cornwall police in partnership with Plymouth City Council and Plymouth Dementia Alliance.

The Herbert Protocol is aimed at finding those who go missing quickly and safely.The Protocol encourages families, carers, friends or neighbours to hold information about the person with Dementia that can help the emergency services find them if they go missing.

Police in Gloucestershire are appealing for the public's help to find a missing man who was last seen in Exeter.

Benjamin Gardner, 28, has not been seen since Friday 4 August after he checked out of the Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel.

Officers are concerned for his welfare and are urging the public to call police on 101 if they see him.

Benjamin, from Cinderford in the Forest of Dean Area, is described as white, slim build, 5ft 5ins tall, with brown cropped hair and a moustache.

Parents appeal for missing son

The parents of missing Exeter man, Gavin Heywood, who has been missing since 26th May have pleaded for their son to make contact or for anyone who may have seen him to get in contact.

Mr and Mrs Heywood said: “Our son Gavin has now been missing since May 26th. During this time he hasn't used his bank account or his phone.

Police are appealing to public to report sightings of 48-year-old Gareth Meadows from Crediton who is missing.

Gareth was last seen on Thursday 27 July at around 10.50pm.

He is described as white, of a medium build with wavy, with brown shoulder length hair and a full beard. He was wearing a black polo shirt, a blue V-neck jumper and jeans.
