Early Christmas for Bluebird Care customers

Forty Customers from the award winning homecare agency enjoyed a three course lunch and entertainment at the Broadclyst Victory Hall and raised over £70 for AgeUK.

Bluebird Care Exeter, an award winning home care provider hosted their annual customer Christmas lunch on Monday 21st December 2015. Customers enjoyed a three course meal, prepared and served by the agency’s passionate office team and were entertained whilst they ate by a local choir singing traditional Christmas carols.

Hotel team don Christmas jumpers for charity

This Friday the nation will be swept with festive fever for Save The Children’s National Christmas Jumper Day.

The team at The Magdalen Chapter will be wrapping up in festive knitwear and donating to the cause. Hotel guests also wearing a Christmas jumper on Friday will be treated to a free mince pie with every hot drink throughout the day.

Christmas tree farm launches in Exeter

Cotley Farm Christmas Trees has been offering high quality Christmas trees in East Devon for the last 10 years and this year they have expanded to offer their trees just 10 minutes from the centre of Exeter at Matford Home Farm.

St James' Park packed for Christmas carols

This Monday (9th December) saw a wonderfully festive celebration in St James' Park.

It promised to be one of the UK’s biggest carol services, transforming the home of Exeter’s football club into a hub of festive cheer.

The stadium filled up in a matter of minutes, as more than 3,500 locals and students flocked to sing a selection of traditional carols and hear about the meaning of Christmas. It was a real joy to see so many people, of all ages, wrapped up and enjoying themselves (and the free mince pies)!
