Christmas tree farm launches in Exeter

Cotley Farm Christmas Trees has been offering high quality Christmas trees in East Devon for the last 10 years and this year they have expanded to offer their trees just 10 minutes from the centre of Exeter at Matford Home Farm.

Traditional, high quality Christmas Trees will be sold at the new central location, Matford Home Farm, next door to the Devon Hotel and beside Parr’s Country Store from 1 December.

Helen and Lester Bowker who grow the trees on their East Devon Farm pride themselves on offering fresh, top quality trees for a more traditional Christmas experience. There is a great range of traditional and non drop varieties in the Christmas tree barn and a large selection of beautiful homemade holly & fir wreaths. The trees are cut at the last possible minute to ensure they are as fresh as can be.

On 7 December Matford Farm will be launching with a special charity Christmas tree event and ‘Meet the Reindeer experience’ in support of local charity Hospiscare.

Join in the festive fun on 7 December with local suppliers offering delicious produce. Crafters will be helping children as they create decorations for the charity Christmas tree which will displayed in the barn through out the festive period.

Two real Christmas reindeer will be at the event for you to feed, stroke and have your photo taken with. These gentle Christmas animals charm both young and old and create a magical festive experience.

Choose your tree on 7 December and enjoy mulled wine, mince pies and a more traditional Christmas experience. Donations will support the work of local charity Hospiscare. 

High quality Christmas trees will be available from Matford Home Farm, (Old Matford Road, Exeter, EX2 8XH) from 1 December - 21 December, 10am-6pm weekdays (late opening until 7pm Thursday and Friday) and 10am-5pm at weekends.
