The Wrong Crowd present The Girl with the Iron Claws
Growing up isn’t easy, especially when you’re in love with a bear.
To celebrate Christmas, award-winning local theatre company The Wrong Crowd bring their critically acclaimed, sell-out show to Dartington. The Girl with the Iron Claws is a captivating, dark fairy-tale, which shares its roots with Beauty and the Beast. Stunning puppetry, bewitching music, deft humour and a touch of snow combine to dazzling effect in this coming-of-age tale to enthral audiences young and old.
A project is underway at Knightshayes as part of an effort to create an archive of recorded memories from people who met and knew Joyce, Lady Heathcoat Amory. The team at Knightshayes are on a hunt to find anyone who might have known Joyce, visited her, met her, played golf with her or have any memories they’d like to share.
This popular coffee and crafts event will be returning to the XCentre by Exeter Quay on Saturday 4th November to help you kick-start your Christmas shopping.
The event will see a range of talented local crafters and artists coming together in this stunning 17th century building by Exeter Quay to showcase and sell their beautiful items.
Fundraising Manager, Holly Keatings, says, “with lots of local craft stalls to browse selling a huge range of beautiful items including art works, jewellery, homewares and decorations, this event really does have something for everyone.
