The Bear Trail set to get kids back in the great outdoors

Devon's latest outdoor adventure centre, The Bear Trail, is celebrating its official Opening Day on Saturday 23rd July. The Bear Trail is an innovative and challenging outdoor adventure trail set over a 10 acre site in Wescott, near Cullompton, which features over 16 separate obstacles where children (and adults!) can run, jump and climb their way across zig-zag bridges, high nets and bear-infested mud pits.

West Front Drawing Competition

Saturday 23rd July – Saturday 27th August during normal visitor hours What does the Cathedral look like to you? Put your sketching skills to the test and send us your picture of the West Front of the Cathedral. You can use pencils, pens, paints, charcoal or anything you like to create your drawing. Please submit your entry to the Front Desk at the Cathedral. Prizes will be available for categories in the following age ranges: 4 – 7, 7-11, 11-16, 16 – 18. All work will be exhibited once the competition comes to a close. Prizes for each category TBA. FREE.

Heraldry Treasure Hunt

Follow the clues that will lead you to each one, and find out who each shield belongs to.
