EXIST (Exeter Initiative for Science & Technology), the STEMM initiative from Exeter Chamber is hosting its first quarterly event of 2023 at the Barnfield Theatre on Thursday 2nd February 2023, from 8.30am – 11am. The Exeter Chamber subgroup is running a series of events throughout the year, focussing on the journey to Net Zero from a business perspective.

This month, Exeter Chamber subgroup, Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology (ExIST) held its latest event which focused on the extremely relevant topic of plastics and what impact plastic is having on the planet combined with the science, research and development of alternative materials and technology.

On Thursday 19th July, the Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology (ExIST) is hosting an event to discuss the evolution of digital currencies.

ExIST event will explore climate change business opportunities

On the 9th March, Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology (ExIST) will be looking into climate change and the opportunities that lie within this for businesses. The event will be held at the new collaboration suite, which is part of the new Met Office Supercomputer building, finished in 2016.

The Met Office with contractors Willmott Dixon built a specialist IT Hall to house part of the Supercomputer and a Collaboration Space to enable Science and technical advancements through collaborations and partnerships.

The Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology (ExIST) will be hosting its first event of 2016 at Sandy Park Conference Centre on the 4th February and will be focusing on the topic of Internet of Things (IoT) in partnership with the Exeter City Futures Initiative.
