Buildings technology theme at quarterly ExIST event

The Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology (ExIST) quarterly event was held on Wednesday 15 April 2015 at the Flybe Training Academy

April’s event had a buildings technology theme with 3 presentations including ‘Building for Uncertainty’ from Mark Harvey of the Met Office, ‘Innovation to the Construction Industry’ from Andrew Dobbs of Willmott Dixon, and ‘Shake Rattle and Roll’ from Professor Paul Reynolds of the University of Exeter.

Food security conference confirms speaker

The Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology 2014 conference has announced a new speaker to its programme – Mark Shepherd, Branch Manager at Waitrose. ExIST launches its first conference

The Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology has launched its first conference, bringing together leading figures from academia and business to discuss the impact of data, science and technology on food security.

The event aims to raise awareness of, and to provide a general overview of, aspects of science and technology supporting agri-science and food security which might help secure the future of UK food requirements.

The Chamber’s Exeter initiative for Science and Technology (ExIST) welcomed speakers from the South West Academic Health Science Network, Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust and the University of Exeter’s Professor of Biomedical Imaging and Biosensing, at its May event. Exeter Initiative for Science & Technology quarterly event

Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology (ExIST) held their fifth quarterly event at Exeter College's new Technology Centre on Sowton Industrial Estate in October.

110 business leaders gathered for the event, which celebrated the wealth of Science and Technology companies operating in Exeter and its sub-region.
