Exeter Chiefs wing Jack Nowell is set to debut for England on Saturday in the opening game of the RBS Six Nations.

The 20-year-old has already established himself as a regular starter for the Chiefs in premiership games and has been described as a ‘natural ruby player’ by head coach Rob Baxter.

Some commentators have claimed that the choice of Nowell in a new backline with only a combined total of only 91 caps by England’s head coach Stuart Lancaster is a risky proposition.

Rob Baxter has attempted to calm fears around Nowell’s inexperience, he said: “He certainly...

Criticisms were also raised over the fate of the youth services and children’s centres which provide a number of services to parents of young children after a...

New reforms, banning Bailiffs and Councils from ‘heavy-handed behaviour’ when collecting debts, will come into force next April.

The reforms will prevent bailiffs from entering people’s homes at night or when only children are present as well as how and when they can take property.

Last month national charity Citizens Advice accused some councils of allowing bailiffs to get away with aggressive and threatening behaviour when recovering council tax debt. Commenting on the report, Steve Bariball, CEO of Exeter CAB said: “In Exeter, we are not seeing the same issues that are...
