The South Devon Link Road is to receive a ‘quieter-surface treatment’, a type of road surface that noticeably reduces the noise created by traffic.
Devon County Council and Torbay Council, along with Galliford Try- the contractors responsible for constructing the road – have made the announcement as they enter the final year of the project.
The surface will result in a noticeable reduction in the road noise level.
