Businesses from Exeter are exhibiting and sending delegates to the Business Showcase South West 2015.

The event, which organisers hope will attract 3,000 delegates, is held at Colston Hall in Bristol on May 14 and 15.

Business Showcase South West 2015 is the biggest event of its kind in the region, and celebrates the best in innovation, creativity and enterprise. Last year’s event proved to be one of the biggest business events of the year, with 1,719 tickets ordered and a sell-out exhibition.

More than two-thirds of the 91 exhibition stands have already been allocated. The business showcase, which is free for delegates, also includes an invitation-only drinks reception and networking event for the region’s leading Chief Executive Officers.

Sponsors for Business Showcase South West 2015 are Enterprise Rent-a-Car, First Great Western and Barclays.

Speakers include ‘Millionaires’ Mentor’ Bev James, industry icon Gerald Ratner, Levi Roots of Dragons’ Den fame, and Stella English, former winner of BBC’s The Apprentice.

Professor Steve West, Vice-Chancellor of the University of the West of England, said: “The South-West has a strong reputation for creativity, sustainability, education and enterprise. With the regional economy in ascendancy, it is particularly apt that we should be encouraging and celebrating the region’s innovation.”

Director of Business Showcase South West Jamie Breese said: “We are celebrating the very best in innovation, creativity and enterprise in the south west, attracting businesses and business people from Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon, Somerset and Cornwall.”
