Travelling through the desolate and magical landscape of Iceland, this documentary sees Sigur Rós a series of free, unannounced concerts at far flung locations. Journey with them to ghost towns, outsider art shrines and highland wilderness, before joining them for the largest gig in Icelandic history at their homecoming Reykjavik show.

Poetry By Heart is the poetry recitation competition for students in schools and colleges in England. Launched by Sir Andrew Motion in 2012, it is an educational initiative of the Poetry Archive in partnership with The Full English. It has gone from strength to strength and is now in its fourth year.

Students aged 14-18 across England will recite a pre-1914 poem and a First World War or post-1914 poem to become our regional winner, and compete in the national finals in Cambridge in March 2016. Come and support your local students!

Volunteer recruitment drive for city charity

A new volunteer recruitment drive has been launched by city charity, Citizens Advice Exeter.

The organisation is looking for volunteers who can spare between eight and ten hours a week and offers a comprehensive training programme.

It is holding an informal open session on Wednesday, March 9 at its office in Dix’s Field, Exeter. Potential volunteers will be able to find out more about the charity’s work, chat with some current volunteers, find out about the training programme and meet the supervisors.
